The project focuses on providing advanced services for the Connected Electric Vehicle (VEC) environment using cutting-edge digital technologies. This includes the use of 5G communications adapted to various use cases, edge computing capabilities, and artificial intelligence components to enhance the offered services.

The main objective is to ensure the continuity of service for various applications required by the VEC, utilizing technologies such as 5G, Edge Computing, and AI as support. These technologies will be applied to both basic communication and control services, as well as entertainment services, contextual information display, and support for driving. Additionally, complementary services such as electric vehicle charging management and fleet-optimized design will be considered.

The project will be carried out in several stages: researching ways to deploy the proposed digital infrastructure heterogeneously, optimizing the deployment to ensure service continuity on roads and factories, and creating a laboratory environment (TestBed) to validate the optimization in the deployment of the digital infrastructure.
