  • Developed in partnership with Optare Solutions, the new platform enables Tricéleris to directly manage its wholesale operations, automate service delivery, and enhance its growth capacity.
  • With this new platform, Tricéleris establishes a wholesale operation driven by real-time updated information, traceable processes, increased service visibility, and faster client integration.

Tricéleris, a neutral fiber-optic infrastructure operator, has launched its new technology platform for managing and commercializing FTTH (Fiber to the Home) wholesale services. Developed alongside Optare Solutions under Project Rubicón, the solution bolsters the company’s operational autonomy, growth capacity, and ability to deliver an agile service experience to its clients.

The rollout of the new platform represents a strategic milestone in Tricéleris’ evolution. By taking full control of its wholesale operations, automating core service delivery workflows, and establishing a scalable operating model, Tricéleris has laid the foundation for its next phase of growth.

Furthermore, Tricéleris strengthens its positioning as a neutral operator by streamlining wholesale relationships and enabling faster, more efficient onboarding into new coverage areas. With this new technological structure, the company’s clients can deploy and sell internet services within just a few hours of signing a commercial agreement.

Operational autonomy and capacity for growth

Project Rubicón represents a cornerstone of Tricéleris’ growth strategy by equipping the company with a technological architecture that centralizes wholesale service management and facilitates the onboarding of new operators and networks.

The platform integrates contracting, provisioning, activation, monitoring, and service management processes, along with tools for commercial and operational interactions with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and other client operators. This integration provides end-to-end traceability, real-time data, and greater responsiveness to meet each operator’s needs.

Miguel Ángel Jiménez Izquierdo, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Tricéleris, highlighted that “our goal is for any operator, regardless of size, to access our fiber infrastructure in an agile, simple, and efficient manner, with automated processes and the best service experience. With automated workflows and a more direct operational management, we can deliver a superior service experience and support our clients’ growth through a reliable and neutral network”.

Automation and wholesale connectivity for operators

Automating fiber-optic service provisioning and activation allows operator requests to be processed in an integrated manner while minimizing manual interventions. The objective is to accelerate client onboarding and the rollout of services.

The platform incorporates open, standardized Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) designed to facilitate integration with telecommunications operators’ Business and Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS). This architecture simplifies technological interconnection processes, lowers integration barriers, and expedites the deployment of new services.

Additionally, the platform features tools for real-time monitoring, process tracking, operational management, and visibility over quality metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In this way, operators have access to richer insights to monitor the status of their services.

These capabilities enable local and regional operators to expand their geographical coverage and carry out commercial activities relying on Tricéleris’ infrastructure, without needing to roll out proprietary network infrastructure across every new territory.

Together, these features deliver a customer experience founded on ease of integration, operational transparency, and rapid response times.

Technological development alongside Optare Solutions

Project Rubicón was carried out in collaboration with Optare Solutions, a firm specialized in technology consulting, engineering, and solution development for the telecommunications sector.

The collaboration was structured around modular development and phased deployment. Both companies prioritized supporting Tricéleris’ growth and ensuring that its technological systems can evolve as its network footprint and connected operator base expand.

Luis Alves, General Manager EMEA at Optare Solutions, noted that “Rubicón demonstrates how an open technological architecture and well-designed automation can become strategic drivers for a telecom operator’s growth. Our partnership with Tricéleris has delivered a robust, scalable platform prepared to manage increasingly complex wholesale operations and facilitate seamless integration with other operators”.

A new chapter for Tricéleris’ wholesale business

The platform reinforces Tricéleris’ neutral host model and unlocks new collaboration opportunities with telecommunications companies seeking to extend their reach without building their own infrastructure in every area.

Tricéleris, which began operations in November 2024 and is present in over 160 municipalities across Spain, enters a new growth phase with the launch of the platform developed under Project Rubicón. This new tool reinforces its operational autonomy, automates wholesale management workflows, and enables clients to expand coverage with lower infrastructure investment requirements.
