- Tricéleris’s Rubicón Project is a comprehensive initiative aiming to position its IT systems as a key pillar for the launch of its wholesale FTTH services.
- The collaboration with Optare Solutions will allow Tricéleris to ensure the company’s scalability while maintaining its strategic alignment, guaranteeing commercial and operational excellence, and strengthening its technological sovereignty.
Tricéleris, a neutral FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network operator in which Teset Capital has a stake, has selected Optare Solutions as its strategic IT partner. In this way, the company continues to advance in the execution of its strategic plan, through which it aspires to become a leading player in the Spanish FTTH infrastructure market.
The collaboration between Tricéleris and Optare Solutions is part of the Rubicón Project, a strategic initiative through which the company seeks to consolidate itself as the leading TIER-2 neutral FTTH network operator in Spain. The main objective of the project is to develop a comprehensive digital platform that allows for the efficient, scalable, and customer-oriented management of the entire network operation. All of this while Tricéleris advances its network development plan through organic growth and acquisitions.
Miguel Ángel Jiménez Izquierdo, COO of Tricéleris, stated that “this project will provide Tricéleris with enhanced capabilities for customer and contract management, automated service provisioning, comprehensive billing, real-time network monitoring, and efficient management of our network deployment. The collaboration with Optare Solutions will allow us to accelerate our growth plans and reinforce our commitment to offering cutting-edge fibre infrastructure services across Spain”.
Tricéleris is establishing itself as a preferred neutral network platform, offering high-quality FTTH services to multiple Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in an agile, flexible, and scalable manner. In this context, Optare Solutions has been chosen as a technology partner due to its deep experience and proven track record in the telecommunications sector, particularly in the implementation of OSS/BSS (Operational Support Systems/Business Support Systems) solutions.
Optare Solutions’ comprehensive proposal focuses on a modular and phased implementation approach, prioritising the progressive deployment of systems. In this way, Tricéleris will ensure the company’s scalability while maintaining strategic alignment, guaranteeing commercial and operational excellence, and strengthening its technological sovereignty. This solution will cover critical functions such as business support systems (BSS), network operations systems (OSS), network assurance, and network creation according to the best practice guidelines and standards defined by tmforum, under the Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
“We are proud to partner with Tricéleris on this transformation project,” commented Luis Alves, General Manager of Optare Solutions. “Our team’s extensive experience in delivering complex OSS/BSS projects for telecommunications operators worldwide, coupled with our strong commitment to innovation and industry best practices, will ensure that Tricéleris has the agile and scalable IT infrastructure necessary to thrive in the competitive wholesale FTTH market”.
Since its launch in 2024, Tricéleris has executed acquisitions of local networks and driven organic deployments, allowing it to reach nearly 350,000 homes passed in over 160 municipalities in Spain. The company focuses its activity on the development of high-quality digital infrastructures, providing local telecommunications operators with access to fibre optic networks without the need for significant investments. In the 2025 financial year, Tricéleris is strengthening its presence in six key regions of Spain: Andalusia, Canary Islands, Community of Madrid, Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha, and La Rioja.
