IDAVEC, Advanced Digital Infrastructures for VEC

Perte Stellantis - IDAVEC, Advanced Digital Infrastructures for VEC

The project focuses on offering advanced services for the Connected Electric Vehicle (VEC) environment through cutting-edge digital technologies. This includes the use of 5G communications adapted to different use cases, edge computing capabilities, and AI components to enhance the services offered.

The main objective is to ensure service continuity for various applications required by the VEC, utilizing technologies such as 5G, Edge Computing, and AI as support. These technologies will be applied to basic communication and control services, as well as entertainment services, contextual information display, and driving support. Additionally, complementary services like electric charge management and optimized design for vehicle fleets are considered.

The project will be developed in several stages: research on heterogeneous deployment methods of the proposed digital infrastructure, optimization of the deployment to ensure service continuity on roads and factories, and the creation of a laboratory environment (TestBed) to validate the optimization of the digital infrastructure deployment.
